Concom and Staff Openings#
Assistant ConChair
Help the ConChair keep everything on track! This role supports con-wide planning, cross-department coordination, and decision-making as needed. Ideal for someone organized, level-headed, and willing to wear many hats.
Head of Hospitality / Consuite
Responsible for organizing the hospitality suite, including food, supplies, staffing, and setup. This role also works closely with logistics to source materials and ensure safe, inclusive practices. People skills, organization, and a strong stomach for snack ordering welcome.
Head of Talent
Oversees guest-of-honor (GoH) logistics and care. Duties include coordinating travel and hotel, assigning and communicating with liaisons, creating welcome baskets, and being a reliable point of contact for GoHs throughout the con.
Author Vetter
Supports the bookstore team by vetting author applications. This includes verifying professional and ethical standards (including flagging AI-generated work), answering questions, and helping uphold community expectations. Experience in the publishing or literary world preferred.
Assistant to Head of Programming
Help the Head of Programming wrangle all the panels, workshops, and events! Tasks include reviewing submissions, communicating with panelists, assisting with the schedule build, and helping the programming team stay on track. Good for someone detail-oriented who likes juggling a lot of moving pieces.
Communications Assistant
Support the Head of Communications with social media, website updates, marketing, and con-weekend coverage (photos, live updates, etc.).
